PROTEST RALLY ORGANIZED BY THE "COORDINATE COMMITTEE OF MIGRANT ASSOCIATIONS, COMMUNITIES AND UNIONS IN GREECE

The rally will move from Omonia Square at 6pm and march to the Parliament building. The main demands of the protesters are: The revocation of new provisions by the Labour Ministry that further complicate and block the legalization process; the simplication of procedures; the establishing of a single service to grant both residence and working permits; the legalization of all migrants presently in Greece; the abolition of the 150-euro deposit fee (paravolo); and the grant of political asylum to all those coming from war zones.
