A one-day workshop: "The Immigration Challenge"

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in collaboration with the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation Cultural Center Non-Profit Organization, organized a one-day workshop entitled: The immigration Challenge on Saturday, September 22^nd 2012 from 9.30 until 17.30 at the Onassis Cultural Centre/Athens. The discussion will focus on four thematic sessions (social sciences, education, urban landscape and art), with the participation of the following prominent Professors: Riva Kastoryano (CNRS, Paris)  George Prevelakis (Sorbonne, Paris I)  Leonie Herwartz-Emden (University of Augsburg) Thalia Dragona (University of Athens), Guy Burgel (Paris Ouest-Nanterre) Panayotis Tournikiotis (National Technical University of Athens Ulrike Hanna Meinhof (University of Southampton) Mihalis Afolayan (ΑSANTE, ANASA). Chairs for each session will be Professors Konstantinos Tsoukalas, Georgios Babiniotis, Ioannis Polyzos and Vana Xenou Nikodemos Maina Kiniwa, Christina Veikou, Thomas Maloutas and Heracles Moskoff will be the respondents. This one day workshop is implemented within the framework of the project “Greek Cogitation Colloquia: Experiential Learning Programs” which is co-financed by the European Social Fund and National funds, through the Operational Programme “Education and Lifelong Learning”. Free admission.
