Greeks beaten by Berlin gang
Police in Germany said yesterday that they had arrested 10 men and one woman in connection with a suspected racially motivated attack on three Greeks in a suburb of Berlin early on Saturday. The three Greeks, two men, aged 27 and 28, and a 25-year-old woman, were attacked near a gas station in the Pankow district, northeastern Berlin, by a group of 10 to 15 people who were shouting racial abuse and appeared to be drunk, according to witnesses. The two Greek men suffered slight facial injuries in the attack and needed brief hospital treatment.
