Vessel carrying undocumented migrants intercepted off Corfu

The coastguard on Thursday intercepted a speedboat piloted by an Italian national reportedly loaded with 30 undocumented migrants north of the Ionian island of Corfu. According to authorities, the migrant smuggler attempted to transport the migrants to the Italian coast when his vessel was spotted by a patrol boat and was led to Corfu port.
