Paiania resident appears before prosecutor

A 23-year-old Greek student who on Thursday shot an Albanian burglar to death in Paiania, eastern Attica, appeared before the prosecutor on Friday. Residents of Paiania, who were gathered outside the capital's Evelpidon court complex on Friday morning, applauded the man as he entered the premises. “We are on your side. You are innocent,” people cheered.
