There were angry scenes in Corinth on Thursday morning when a crowd of some 200 people obstructed a transport of arrested illegal migrants from entering a disused army base in the city.  

The police had managed to bring about 200-250 migrants into the barracks, once the home of the 6th Infantry Regiment, before they were obstructed.
