Afghan remanded for Patra murder

One of the three Afghan nationals arrested earlier this week in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old Greek man in the western port of Patra was remanded in custody on Friday. The Afghan, who was arrested last month for entering the country illegally along with his two compatriots, reportedly told police he had nothing to do with the killing, indicating that he had walked away when the other two Afghans started arguing with the victim.
