Anti-racism bill might go back to coalition leaders
It appeared on Wednesday that the fate of a contentious anti-racism bill will have to be determined by the leaders of the three parties in the fragile coalition after the government’s general secretary, Panayiotis Baltakos, refuted reports that the bill had gained approval in principle by a parliamentary committee. According to Baltakos the bill has not been approved and it remains unclear whether it will be put to a vote at all.
