The dead body of a 25-year-old African woman, presumed to be an illegal immigrant, was found by police on the shores of the Evros River in an area known as Tyheros on Wednesday. The young woman is believed to have lost her life in the attempt to cross the river from Turkey into Greece, due to the poor weather conditions prevailing at the time.
