Changes expected to anti-racism bill

An anti-racism bill drafted by the justice ministry will not be submitted to parliament as it is, sources within the government have said. The draft bill will reportedly be submitted to the parliament's legislation drafting committee on Tuesday. The bill would outlaw incitement against people because of their race, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation, and impose jail sentences of up to six years on offenders, according to reports.
