Cyclists stage anti-racist bike ride: "Say no to racist violence”
Cyclists staged an anti-racist bike ride in downtown Athens on Saturday in the memory of Sahjat Luqman who was murdered last January. The "bike ride against racism and violence" started from Syntagma Square and continued through Koukaki towards the central Athens district of Petralona, where the 26-year-old Pakistani cyclist was stabbed to death. A memorial plaque that was placed at the scene of the murder reads: “Our friend Sahjat Luqman was murdered here. Say no to racist violence.”
