Dendias: Greek society is not xenophobic at all

Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias tells CNN that Greeks are not xenophobic at all, 'rather the opposite', before adding that illegal migrants are 'a huge problem' “Greek society is not xenophobic at all, rather the opposite”, Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias told CNN International during an interview on Friday. During a two-day visit to New York, Dendias spoke to CNN about Greek strikes, social unrest and xenophobia. Asked about the rising numbers of racist attacks, Dendias responded that the ministry has “taken all necessary measures to protect any human being in Greece”, stressing that illegal migratory flows present “a huge problem”.
