Minister visits border fence

A border fence being constructed along Greece’s northeastern border with Turkey in a bid to deter clandestine immigrants is to be completed by early October, officials said. During an on-site inspection on Wednesday, Public Order and Citizens’ Protection Minister Nikos Dendias vowed that authorities will provide all the necessary manpower and technical resources for the project to succeed.
