New rules for Greek citizenship coming soon

The Greece-born children of immigrants will have to wait longer and file a lot more paperwork in order to apply for Greek citizenship. But not so foreigners who intend to make a big investment - they will be eligible for a fast-track procedure, according to the latest draft law amending citizenship rules that is currently being hammered out by officials at the interior ministry.  The details of the new bill, which has yet to be tabled in parliament, were outlined in an exclusive report published in Wednesday’s Eleftherotypia.
