More than 100 undocumented migrants, who were travelling in a boat off the southern Peleponnesian coast, were picked up by coastguards on Friday after an emergency call was made from the vessel. According to reports, coastguards launched a search and rescue operation was one of the migrants on the boat, which was located off the island of Elafonisos, dialled the 112 European emergency number.
