Police accused of coverup in immigrant attack:Immigrant and antifascist organisations say police in western Athenian suburb are detaining victims who report attacks

The United Movement Against Racism and Fascist Threat (Keerfa) and Greek Pakistani Community are accusing Menidi police of covering up a recent immigrant attack in the Western Athenian suburb. On Sunday, March 31, three immigrants went to the Menidi police station after being attacked that afternoon on Dede and Megalou Alexandrou streets.  According to Keerfa's document, six hooded men dressed in black approached the immigrants and asked them for residency papers, posing as law enforcement officials. They then attacked the immigrants with knuckledusters, fleeing the scene soon after.
