Robber shot dead in Peania suburb

A 43-year-old man was shot and killed in the early morning hours on Thursday. The victim, alleged to be an armed robber, was shot by a 25-year-old local man following a break-in into the latter's residence. According to initial reports, three unknown individuals at about 2 a.m., broke into a house in Peania, a suburb east of central Athens.
