A Greek military serviceman serving in the northern Evros region has been arrested by port officials in Igoumenitsa as he was driving a truck carrying undocumented migrants. The refrigerator truck, together with its cargo of oranges, was found carrying 70 undocumented migrants, including two children and a woman, who were going to travel from the port of Igoumenitsa to Italy. The illegals were found in a special compartment in the truck, that had been equipped with forged licence plates.
