Torture victim vindicated after ten years

A turkish undocumented migrant whom the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) found was tortured by members of the Greek coastguard 10 years ago says he hopes that the ruling will serve “as a deterrent” and that “other people in Greek detention will draw hope from my story”.
