A 22-year-old Russian woman arrested on Friday during a raid on an illegal brothel in central Athens and who was subsequently identified as HIV+ was remanded in custody on Monday pending trial. The woman, whose name and photograph was released by police on Sunday, reportedly denied knowing she was infected with the virus that causes Aids.
