Xenophobia on the rise in Greece - report

There is a growing problem threatening the people in Greece, and a rising sense of fear. Migrants have been left afraid to walk the streets because Greek authorities are failing to tackle the rise in xenophobic violence, Human Rights Watch said in a report released on 10 July. The report, “Hate on the Streets: Xenophobic Violence in Greece,” is a compilation of interviews with 59 people who experienced or escaped a xenophobic incident between 2009 and 2012.
