Europe needs a new migration policy and should seek greater cooperation with Turkey in this regard to lessen the numbers of undocumented migrants entering the bloc, one of the leaders of the European Greens said on Tuesday. "If Europe does not develop new relations of cooperation with Turkey, then the Greek-Turkish border will never be secure," emphasised Daniel Cohn-Bendit MEP, pointing out that Turkey was the main transit country for migrants entering Greece and the EU.
