A 37-year-old Turkish migrant smuggler was arrested and seven illegal migrants were detained on Wednesday in the Lavara region of Evros Riiver, which marks the Greek-Turkish border. The arrest of the smuggler also averted the smuggling into Greece of another 20 illegal migrants who were waiting for him on the opposite Turkish coast to be transported to Greece, according to police.
