ANTI-RACISM MIGRANT DEMONSTRATION

The Greek Social Forum and a number of migrant associations are organising a protest march on Saturday, October 18, from Omonia Square to the Parliament. They are calling for a quick legalisation of all undocumented migrants, wage increases, employment with full insurance coverage for all migrants, and for an end to expulsions. They are also protesting at policies aiming at making Europe a "fortress"closed to further immigration. Demonstrators will begin gathering in Omonia Square at 1pm and will start marching at 4pm.
