Turks detain 61 migrants

Security forces at a Mediterranean resort detained 61 illegal migrants who were planning to sneak into Greece, the Anatolian news agency reported on July 9. The security forces detained migrants from Pakistan, Somalia, Mozambique, Afghanistan, Burma and Mauritania after searching a truck and a car travelling near the Mediterranean resort of Marmaris, the agency said. The vehicles' drivers were detained on suspicion of human trafficking.
