Migrants killed in border minefield

Two illegal immigrants were killed and one was seriously injured when they accidentally entered an army minefield on the border between Greece and Turkey, Greek authorities said April 4. The army said one man from Mauritania and another unidentified man were killed by land mine explosions, while an Iraqi man was hospitalised following a rescue effort that lasted several hours and ended early on April 4.
