SEEN as a springboard to Europe, Greece is the first stop illegal immigrants from Turkey make on their way to freedom or a better life. That's why illegal immigration from neighbouring Turkey to Greece has become an unwieldy bone of contention between the two countries with the latter calling on Ankara to stop the flood of migrants.
