Undocumented migrants should be protected from exploitation by unscrupulous employers and cheap labour practices, according to a new report published by the European Union’s Fundamental Rights Agency on November 21. “Access to justice is a crucial right, since the enforcement of all other fundamental rights hinges upon it in the event of a breach,” reads the report.
