Illegal migrants caught

Police detained 73 illegal immigrants found hiding in a truck and arrested the driver near Greece's border with Turkey on December 1, authorities said. Police said the immigrants crossed the Evros river between the countries in a dinghy. The truck was stopped and searched by police 35 kilometres from the border. Their nationalities were not released.
