Eastern workers welcome

It's official Greece cracked open its door to workers from the eight mainly ex-communist countries that joined the European Union two years ago. In an eleventh-hour decision, the country announced that it will lift its transitional labour restrictions late on April 28 - the last possible moment before the deadline, putting an end to a monthlong "will they or will they not" saga.
