Burglary couple

A Serbian couple has been arrested in Athens on suspicion of carrying out almost 80 burglaries on homes in the city's southern suburbs. The 47-year-old man and 42-year-old woman are alleged to have begun breaking into homes in Glyfada and Ilioupoli in April 2007. Officers said they recovered more than 11,000 euros in cash and many valuables from the couple's home.
